What are your source of motivation that keep you studying and staying all night? That act like a charger when you are down and nearly give up? If you dont have one, you better find it before difficulties as a medical student start to overwhelmed u. However, whatever our source of motivation is, we have to remember that we are here on earth for a test set up by Allah:
"do people think that they will be left alone because they say "we believe" and will not be tested?" al-ankabut:2.
And we must also bear in mind that :
"and whosoever strives, he strives only for himself. Verily, Allah stands not in need of any of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn, and all that exist ) " al-ankabut :6
Whatsoever happen in this world is a test for us, those who grab the opportunity that Allah presented to them is for the profit of themself. Allah dont need anything from us, its us that always in need of Him. The concept of test is so important in islam that the understanding of this concept make a believe stronger in facing any predicament.
Abu Suhayb ibn Sinaan narrated that the Prophet said: “How amazing is the case of the believer; there is good for him in everything, and this characteristic is exclusively for him alone. If he experiences something pleasant, he is thankful, and that is good for him; and if he comes across some diversity, he is patient, and that is good for him.” [Muslim]
“If you are thankful I will add more (favors) unto you; but if you show ingratitude truly My punishment is terrible indeed.” [Surat Ibrahim 14:7]
